Meet @Shaida Panbachi who is a PhD candidate at the University of Basel. Two months ago she joined us at @Zentiva Česká republika to complete her studies with 18 months of practical education in the industrial environment. Under the supervision of our colleague @Josef Beránek from Zentiva´s R&D centre, she works on her university research project. The exchange is possible within the EU´s InPharma program which focuses on creating international and interdisciplinary connections between academia and industry.

What does she say about the experience? „I really appreciate that I can see the bigger picture. At Zentiva, I can see all the processes, departments, and functions that participate in translating a research project into reality. I was surprised by how supportive the company is, providing good guidance, trust and materials for my PhD project.“

Shaida hopes to one day bring a new solution for patients in drug delivery. We applaud all such ambitions and we celebrate her and all the other women on today´s International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
