Zentiva joins UN Target Gender Equality Accelerator
From Commitment to Action
Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right – it is also a powerful driver of business success. As a pan-European company, we have both the responsibility and the opportunity to lead in advancing gender equality across the continent and beyond. That is why we are proud to announce Zentiva’s participation in the United Nations Target Gender Equality (TGE) Accelerator, a six-month programme designed to help businesses turn their gender equality commitments into concrete actions.
Zentiva's commitment to sustainability
Zentiva proudly aligns its strategy and operations with the United Nations Global Compact, embracing its Ten Universal Principles and actively supporting all 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A cornerstone of this commitment is our participation in the Target Gender Equality (TGE) Accelerator - a key initiative within our global sustainability framework that drives meaningful business action toward achieving the SDGs by 2030 - particularly SDG 5: Gender Equality.
Building Culture of Equality
While Zentiva maintains a healthy gender balance - 53% women and 47% men overall, and 45% women in managerial roles - we recognize the need for continued progress. To support this journey, two representatives from Zentiva will participate in the TGE Accelerator. The programme will help us:
- Gain practical tools and insights to continue strengthening our gender equality culture
- Identify gaps and opportunities across operations, supply chains, and communities
- Set clear, measurable gender equality targets
- Prepare for emerging gender-related legislation
- Build networks with UN partners and peer companies
- Position Zentiva as a leader in gender equality
